Moved to San Diego in 1986, came flaming out of the gay closet and soon left the rest of JW thinking behind. 21 years later I'm a fairly boring laid-back agnostic gay bartender. Love to try anything the JWs say you shouldn't (except maybe joining the army). I love politics, corny movies, my boyfriend, his dog, and my two cats.

I am just inactive (but I'm sure they've seen the Halloween and Christmas decorations at my house). I am apostate scum LOL. I learned alot from the witnesses about the bible and how to live a decent life. I learned how to show love and forgiveness to others from the bible. These are things I did not learn growing up. For these things I am very grateful. My daughter, who is grown, was traumatized by her witness upbringing. If I had it to do all over again, I would get my children involved in extracurricular activities. I would also have encouraged them to go to college. It's all water under the bridge now but it would have made a difference in their lives.

I am simply here in an attempt to straighten out the claims of one of the members of this Forum. It has come to my attention ichard Ivey (richeyrich on here) has been telling people that he works for me and at the studio I work at. This is simply not the case. Richard Ivey has never worked for or with me. In fact, to my knowledge has no professional piercing experience anywhere. I think it raises the question "What else does hey lie about?"

He made life miserable, and I would say he made my life like living in hell (for 9 1/2 years). I don't know what his problem was, but I guess it was this darn religion and more. Needless to say... I don't strongly dislike him, but I hate him bacause of all the mean and un thoughtful things he has done and said to not only me, but my sister and my mother, which disgusts me. I never have understood the JW religion, and never will... By the way, my mother is also on this site, and it looked so interesting. So now I'm on it. If anyone wants to talk, here I am!

My dad's alcoholism kicked in big time during my teenage years and he ended up getting df'ed two times. My mom decided to divorce him the second time he was df'ed. My dad was kicked out of his religion and out of his house and away from his five boys. Rule has it that if a family member is df'ed and not living with the family, then there cannot be any association. After a year of complying, I decided that this was rediculous. I decided to begin visiting my dad from time to time. My mom found out and turned me in to the elders. They said that if I continue to visit him that when I turn 18 I could possibly be df'ed too. I said, I'm outta here and never looked back. Two years later I ran into an old female JW friend. Surprisingly she wanted to begin hanging out with me and it wasn't long before we began dating secretly. She wanted to know why I was out. So I told her everything that I knew that was wrong about the "organization". She was actually very receptive for awhile about everything i had to say. However, one day it was just too much for her and after she broke up with me she ran to the elders and cleansed her conscience. I was soon hunted down by the elders and told that I had to keep my mouth shut or be df'ed. The next day, I wrote my letter of DA and hand delivered it to the elders. During the past 10 years or so, I've rarely thought about the JW religion. My mom just sent me the new tract, The End of False Religion is Near and that peaked my curiousity about the JW organization again. I started doing internet research on the tract and found this site. So here I am.

With new accounts like this one, there is no problem when I try to retieve my password through the system. With my previous JH account, I couldn't log on because it kept sending an old, outdated password... And I'm glad to be a newbie again !!!

If anyone can offer any info i can give to my legal team I'd be most greatful. IF you can go to sleep with a clear mind free of doing ill to people then thats all thats needed in my eyes.
